Third Monday of the month      -  Scatter Night. When members meet for fellowship. i.e. 10-pin bowling, quiz night, visits elsewhere.
Fourth Monday of the month    -  Speaker Night. When a Guest Speaker is invited to address the club.

At this week’s meeting of Biddulph Rotary Club, President, David Ash had the pleasant duty of inducting two new members.
Introducing Graeme Court, David, said that Graeme, who is a retired aviation consultant, had been introduced by Biddulph Town Councillor, Ken Harper. Graeme thanked the club for inviting him to join and said how much he was looking forward, not only to joining in the various projects that Rotary are undertaking, but also to enjoying the fellowship and social events of the club. He then treated the club to a homily in verse, outlining his history.

Following Graeme's induction it was the turn of Steven Beasley, introduced by Town Crier John Robinson. Steven is  currently working in toxicological endocrinology, exploring the new 'miracle drugs' that might one day free us from disease. Steve also said (although not this time in verse) how much he was looking forward to engaging in Rotary projects.

The Club has for many years worked closely with the Biddulph community, whether it be fund-raising, providing marshals for special events, or assisting Father Christmas on his annual flying visit to Biddulph and the surrounding area.
There are annual events such as the Swimathon, Youth Speaks, The Town Christmas Lights Switch-on, and The Acorn Awards.
